6x8 Chicken Coop

This 6x8 chicken coop is located at our Berlin location. With egg prices soaring, what better time to bring the chickens to you, rather than your wallet to the store. Rated for up to 25 chickens, this coop is designed to retrieve the eggs from the outside through the nesting box doors. Six chickens will share one nesting box. We also have the windows open from the exterior which allow for you to add or limit ventilation without having to enter the coop. This animal shelter has a total of 5 windows. We have this many as chickens are known to lay eggs based on how much natural light they receive. Inside the coop is a pull down ramp which gives the birds access to the lower run area. It is advisable that once a coop is delivered you trench the perimeter and install wire or a hardwire cloth from the runners 6" deep. By doing so any predators trying to gain entry by digging under the coop will be stopped. Lastly, in CT, you can sell your eggs without any special regulations.
